Keep your monthly entertainment allowance separate from essential spending. Enter Ghana cedi amounts and choose the number of sessions covered by the same monthly limit.

After editing an input, calculate again to see the updated result.

Formula and worked example

Per-session limit = the smaller of the monthly budget and total cap, divided by planned sessions. Previous losses do not increase that limit.

With GHS 200 available for entertainment, a GHS 80 overall cap and four sessions, the per-session limit is GHS 20. A cap is permission to spend less, including nothing; it is not a target to reach.

What the calculation means

This is a maximum expense limit, not a spending target. Stop at your limit and do not chase losses.

Recognise limits and find support

Educational estimates only; no outcome is guaranteed. For adults where lawful. Set limits and never chase losses.

Try another worked scenario

Load an example, then select Calculate. These hypothetical inputs remain editable before calculation.

  • GHS 60 ÷ 4 = GHS 15 per session.

  • GHS 60 ÷ 8 = GHS 7.50 per session.

  • GHS 80 ÷ 4 = GHS 20 per session.

The lower total controls the allocation. More sessions divide the same limit into smaller amounts; they do not increase the budget. Compare the plan with actual records and do not raise the limit to recover losses.
